My philosophy of stable HAPPINESS

In this chaotic world if you are in quest of Inner peace and Happiness then you are on the right place.

If you are reading this article, i wana ask you few questions and i want you to answer those questions to yourself.
The question are:-

  1. Are you having a good day or a bad day?
  2. Why are you having a good day or a bad day?
  3. Tomorrow would you rather have a good day or a bad day?

Last question is the most easiest one and answer is ofcourse a good day. We all wana have good day everyday. No one want to have a bad day. So, this is the type of happiness we always wish to have in our heart of hearts. We have a good day when we are happy and we want to be happy everyday.

Why are you having a Good day or a bad day?

Our good days and bad days depends on how  we answer this question.
A philosopher said  “Much of the time our mind is like a balloon in the wind blown here and there by external circumstances“. Do you know that feeling? When things are going well and they are going your way, you are happy. But when something goes wrong  or go out of your way then your happy feeling disappear.

You go home and your inmates tell you how was the day and you say yeah ,it was good and you give a long list of reasons of your good day. As long as reasons of having a good day are list of external circumstances then you are not going to have stable happiness that we all want. If that what our happiness depends upon we will not have inner Peace because you can’t control people and circumstances then your happiness will be in hands of others and will  be on the whim of our circumstances.

How to have a good day everyday?

So, if you really wish to have a good day everyday. We have two things which we need to do.

  1. Stop outsourcing your happiness and your unhappiness from the people and circumstances. In other words, you need to stop attributing your happiness on what’s going on externally and stop blaming others for your unhappiness. As long as you keep on doing that as long as you are making it the job of people and circumstances to make you happy and  make it their fault for your unhappiness. Your happiness will be unstable.
  2. Your second job is to actively cultivate a source of peace and a source of happiness coming from inside of your mind.

There is a saying” Happiness and unhappiness are states of mind” and therefore their cause can’t be found outside the mind so, if you will have perfect state of mind you will be happy regardless of people and circumstances. If you have a chaotic and agitated mind then even if you  have very good circumstances you will  still find it impossible to be happy .  In  other words it’s not what’s happening that is making you unhappy and happy,  it’s how you respond to things that determines your happiness and your unhappiness.

Peace is for the broken, 
For the weary, 
Peace is for the disappointed, 
The hearts that are heavy, 
For those who have burden they can't carry and for those tossed in a Storm.

Cultivating stable peace of mind

We all understand this  it’s not rocket science or hard to understand and maybe to certain extent you are thinking yeah, i knew that already but how you actually do it. That you can rely upon regardless of circumstances.

There are several ways to find inner peace and happiness . Below i am listing simple Ways to Achieve inner peace and happiness


I would say meditation is a mental action of concentrate on peaceful and positive state of mind. Meditation have various benefits as it reduces anxiety, depression etc.

Meditation has been proposed to be a great way to enhance ones well-being. It enhances an individuals attention regulation, emotion regulation and helps in changing one’s self-perception. This all leads to experiencing more positive emotions associated  with happiness and inner peace.

How to do meditation?

Sit down in a comfortable position. Become aware of the sensation of your breath. As you breathe out you can  imagine, you are  breathing out in agitation, mental busyness,  frustration and unhappiness of your life, breathe it all out like a dark smoke and as you breathe in you can imagine and believe that you are grieving in a clean bright light which is filling your entire mind and for few seconds simply enjoy. As you finish be determined to bring the peace with you into rest of your day to benefit your  self and others.

Start being grateful for all that you have in life is one way to achieve inner peace and happiness.

Some scholars have even noted that happiness and gratefulness are one and the same.

It has been found that grateful people are well aware of life-challenges but choose not to focus on it. Instead, they underscore on the interconnectedness of life and are less propelled to materialistic goals.


In Sanskrit, the word “mantra” translates to mind tools or instruments. Considered to be sacred and to have a powerful impact on reprogramming our subconscious mind. When repeated frequently, it purifies one’s mind and soul.

Below are two mantra which are proved really powerful

Aum Namah Shivaya

  1. Om Namah Shivaya (i.e., I bow to Shiva), which when practiced in the form of meditation results in calmness and self-confidence.
  2. Om or Aum (i.e., the sound of the universe and the sound of creation), which when chanted during meditation leads individuals to self-realization, freedom, and enlightenment.

Find peace within yourself. If you can’t find peace within yourself  you will never find it anywhere else
